Birdseye Maple Frames
Our line of splined corner frames can be made from many types of wood including birdseye maple, tiger maple, cherry, walnut and mahogany.
Wood splines hold the corners of the frame together. Splines are made by cutting one two or three notches into each of the corners of the frame and inserting wooden pieces. No nails or pins are used with this method. It is the strongest way of joining the corners of a frame.
